Privacy Policy

In short: Rawdah collects no personal data and has no accounts or logins. We do collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (for example, which artworks are colored most and average completion) to improve the app. This is never linked to your child, never sold, and we use no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers the Rawdah iPad app and this website. Rawdah is a coloring app designed for children, built to be private by design.

2. Personal data we collect

None. No name, email, phone, address; no account or login; no device identifiers (no IDFA, no advertising IDs, no fingerprinting); no location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.

3. Anonymous usage statistics we do collect

To understand what children enjoy and decide which content to create next, we collect a small amount of anonymous, aggregate usage data:

Which artworks/scenes are opened and colored most.
Approximate completion (e.g. what percentage of a scene is filled).

These counts are aggregated on the device and sent, at most once a day, to our own servers — never to a third party. They contain no identifiers and no IP-based identity, cannot be linked to any individual or device, are never sold, and are not used to track users across apps or websites.

4. Where your data lives

Your child's coloring progress and app settings are stored locally on the device only. The anonymous usage statistics above are reported in aggregate and contain no personal information.

5. Third parties

We use no third-party advertising networks, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that track users, and no social media SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any.

6. Children's privacy (COPPA, GDPR-K, UK AADC)

Rawdah is designed for children and intended to comply with COPPA, the EU GDPR (including protections for children), and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children, and require no account. The anonymous usage statistics are aggregate and non-identifying.

7. Purchases & external links

Rawdah offers optional in-app purchases, processed solely through Apple's in-app purchase system — we never see or store payment details. Any purchase, and any link that leaves the app (this policy, support email, App Store), is placed behind a parental gate so young children cannot trigger it without an adult.

8. Data retention & deletion

We hold no personal data on any server. Local data can be erased anytime via "Reset all progress" in the Parental Portal, or by deleting the app. Anonymous aggregate statistics cannot be tied to an individual and therefore cannot be singled out for deletion.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and the App Store privacy details before the change ships, and revise the "last updated" date above.
